But also wow. Why isn't he surprised-- oh, right, because this sounds just like what he'd expect to be happening. Some bigger force fighting against other forces, causing problems in his own life, as though being in the bad situation itself isn't enough.
He makes a face at the last part. ]

[ Percy's anger flares a bit, and he's releasing a shaky breath. ]
They made the clones here. The ones for the game...
[ Not entirely a question, but it's probably clear he's waiting to either be mocked for stupidly jumping to the wrong conclusion or told he's right or... ]

[ While the demigod is putting thoughts together, trying to figure out which emotions to feel, Astaroth simply watches him. His own expression still the same barely-contained rage. ]
Yeah, they did. Beelzebub has been interfering for quite a while. They enjoy the chaos and misery that comes from watching the universe end.

[ It's not that Astaroth cares if Percy gets himself killed, but Akira is attached to this guy for some reason. And well, Astaroth has no love for Beelzebub but they are strong. So he just nods in approval.
